Body Beast is one of Beachbody’s newest exercise program and it’s sure to be one of the most popular home workouts from Beachbody, competing with the famous P90X and Insanity. Body Beast is a totally different kind of workout and completely different from P90X and Insanity. It is one of the first body building programs made for you to use at home on DVD, no more going to the gym. Body building was very popular in the 80’s with Arnold Schwarzenegger and is starting to make a comeback today.
Do I need the Body Beast Worksheet?
Of course you do! Body Beast comes with the worksheets, but if you’re like most people you will lose yours, sorry – misplace them. Or they will get marked up and you may have forgotten to make copies of them when they were nice and clean and new so you had some extras around if you needed them. I always liked having a few extra copies of the worksheets around for all the above reasons and for future use when I do these programs again, because who knows how available they will be in the future. I also like to have a digital copy that I can print out whenever I need them. Well here you are, right now this is the only official Beachbody version of the Body Beast worksheet:

Body Beast Build Chest & Tris is probably one of the more intense workouts in the Beast’s repertoire of workouts and appropriately sets the standard and pace for future Body Beast workouts! And dont forget though. This is BASICALLY how Sagi opens up the workout, lol

Body Beast Build Chest & Tris
- Length: 49 minutes
- Equipment Needed: Weight Bench or Stability Ball (optional), Dumbbells, EZ-Curl Bar and Plates (optional)
I feel the need to explain the Body Beast equipment that I personally use and why some things are optional. I dont have a weight bench and I dont like sitting on the stability ball for fear of it popping, lol. So I use our living room ottoman. I also dont have an EZ-Curl bar, but you can use dumbbells as well for those moves.
The Warmup
This is 2:45 minutes warmup is quick but it gets the blood pumpin. You do a little fairy jog, then some arm circles, then a serious of different width pushups, and back to your fairy jog.
The Workout
Single Set > Dumbbell Chest Press
- Set 1: 15 reps
- Set 2: increase weight: 12 reps
- Set 3: increase weight: 8 reps
- Drop Set: decrease weight: 8 reps
Super Set > Incline Dumbbell Fly/Incline Dumbbell Press
- Set 1: Chest flys: 15 reps
- Set 1: Incline dumbbell press: 15 reps
- Set 2: Chest flys: increase weight: 12 reps
- Set 2: Incline dumbbell press: increase weight: 12 reps
- Set 3: Chest flys: increase weight: 8 reps
- Set 3: Incline dumbbell press: increase weight: 8 reps
- Drop Set: Incline dumbbell press: decrease weight: 8 reps

The Cool Down
You have a whopping 48 seconds to cool down from blasting two huge muscle groups. Again, I am not sure that this is an adequate amount of time to stretch out the muscles. Spend a bit more time than allotted.
This workout is gunna make you rethink all other chest workout. You should have absolutely nothing left after you finish.
